The actual History of Trainers - Part One


In the very first of our four section series looking at cheap adidas shoes the world history involving trainers, we look on the period from 1917 to be able to 1972. This period includes a selection of some of the first trainers produced just like Stan Smith from Adidas and the Pro-Keds Royal Plus.

1917 -- Converse All Star

Launched in 1917 and taking the Chuck Taylor name cheap yeezy boost 350 from 1923 in honour with the world famous basketball battler, the shoe has been a favourite in the music world and is associated with Snoop Dogg and bands such as Ramones and The Cerebrovascular events. The shoe also featured inside the film "I, Robot" starring Can Smith. The trainer's common status, history and styling should mean it is around for countless years to come.

1964 - Adidas Stan Smith

Quality design and still popular across cheap adidas ultra boost the world since it's launch because the first all-leather performance snooker shoe. The shoe has already been re-issued in many colours through the years but this is the classic white model, combining retro and athletic manner. These trainers go using any outfit.

1968 : Puma Suede

The basic design of trainers, coupled with the wide selection of colours, these are one of many world's best loved shoes or boots. The 1990s brought about a revival of these Puma classics which is often worn with virtually anything and still look good.

1969 - Adidas Movie star

This was the earliest low top basketball shoe to be cheap adidas NMD made and is known by millions as being the "shell toe", a feature that has been included to protect the toes of the players. A favourite to the hip hop scene which consists of chunky fit and design, Run-DMC released the melody "My Adidas" in recognition of the shoe. The trainer, worn by basketball star Kareem Abdul Jabbar whenever they were released, can be seen worn around the world today including in each and every US prison!

1971 -- Pro-Keds Royal Plus

Available as the high or low major, these trainers were quickly recognisable by their red-colored and navy stripes. Developed for your basketball court, these Keds were worn by Nate Archibald from the Kansas City Kings.

1972 : Adidas SL 72

Considering the 'SL' standing for Seriously Light, these trainers were suitable for the 1972 Olympics within Munich and were unbelievably light. These trainers featured a internal heel counter and were re-issued in 2004.

That's it with the first instalment, next time we'll look at the period as long as 1987 which includes the birth belonging to the mighty Jordan.
