Set Item changes will make improvements to those that are not performing well with D2R Items Set Items and give players an additional incentive to go after Partial Items and Sets in Full that can enhance the skill changes mentioned to above. Finally it is expected that new Rune words will be added to compliment those changes. Skill and Mercenary changes coming in the update.

Diablo 2 gets its first new runeword in the last 17 years, and it's amazing.YouTuber Dbrunski125 shared one of the new runewords in Diablo 2 Resurrected and it's actually quite strong. The runeword is called Unbending Will  and it's basically a budget-friendly Breath of the Dying.

Unbending Will can be rolled in 6 open socket swords. It includes Phase blades and colossus swords as well as an initial 330% enhanced damage modifier. It's only 20% lower than the Breath of the Dying edmg without any high runes being used cheap D2R ladder items. Fal is the most powerful rune is a rune that is budget-friendly commonly used in the nightmare hellforge or countess run.
