Is Over We'Re Not The Consumer They'Re After

It's advertising. Anything posted on a brand's social media is advertisements. They also are not"not holding their event"; they're delaying it, and drawing attention to it using this Mut 21 coins tweet. To be fair, this is actually the first I've heard about the reveal. It is currently on my radar because of this tweet, so it is still advertising. This isn't doing anything though and quite frankly some people have experienced our intelligence insulted way too far with the slew of dumb fucking"we stand together with you through covid" ads by companies lately. These very same companies that are actively fucking over their workers in this outbreak. Like seriously, Amazon of all fucking firms has a God damn covid advertisement with some asshole preaching about just how much the company is doing to safeguard it's employees which people who have followed recent events will know is complete fucking bullshit. It's a damn joke honestly.

EA is the big corp in the gaming world. They say and do whatever will bring them greatest gain. Kaepernick refused to stand up during the national anthem which generated a chain reaction in the league. These were actions of protest against racial discrimination and the authorities during the Donald Trump presidency. Much like anyone's losing sleep within a (likely ) cinematic trailer boosting a game that will just be precisely the same as last year's. Comes off as EA hoping to get people to forget they renewed basically an entire monopoly on NFL games which majorly pissed off sports sport lovers.

EA hoping to get people to forget they renewed basically an entire monopoly on NFL games that majorly pissed off sports game fans. EA and NFL did not force eachother into a decision. I'm sure they're equally pleased to make bucketloads of money. People just need to blame the party they despise the most. The NFL frankly doesnt care in any way, they only care about their image and gains, they understand that the image the nfl's had beneath EA and are satisfied with that continuing without taking"risk" in seeing how other publishers could present their brand. Most people outside echochambers like this one don't care.

Vast majority of Reddit won't buy it. Why the fudge would EA care when they still make absolute bank on the game. EA does something most people would regard as good and people figure out ways to make it poor. It is not totally unappreciated, but for example, we've seen this with Buy Madden nfl 21 coins satisfaction. Most companies only started doing it once they knew it was fiscally safe to come out in support. Does not make it a terrible thing. Look at Netflix writers. A lot of them have publicly stated that they have desired x race or x-ray character in shows they've wanted to create, only for different studios to tell them to tone it down or eliminate it completely. Netflix doesn't tell these folks to write stories like that, they've only given them the freedom to. Same with HBO.
